Indoors or out, Disto hand-held laser meters measure distance, area and volume with accuracy to 1/16 of an inch at ranges of up to 100 meters (330 feet), the company says. With point-and-click operation, one person can measure even in locations that are inaccessible or blocked by obstructions. Four shockproof, waterproof models are available, ranging from the basic Disto lite4 to the Disto pro4a, which has extended memory for 800 values and allows downloading of data to a PC.
