KB Home Names John Reeves President of Washington, D.C., Metro Division

Reeves assumes responsibility for all home building operations

KB Home (NYSE: KBH), one of America's premier home builders, today announced that John Reeves has been named president of the Company's Washington, D.C. Metro division, which includes the states of Maryland and Virginia. In this role, Reeves assumes responsibility for all of the Company's homebuilding operations throughout the Washington, D.C. metro area, from land acquisition and construction to sales and customer service.
"John's broad experience in land acquisition, planning, development and operations, combined with his deep knowledge of the vibrant local housing market surrounding our nation's capital, will help KB Home offer a top notch Built to Order(TM) homebuying experience to area residents," said Vince DePorre, regional president of KB Home.
Most recently, Reeves was chief operating officer of the Silver Companies in Virginia, a commercial and residential real estate investment and development company. As COO, he successfully managed the commercial side of the business comprised of over 30 active projects. Prior to Silver Companies, Reeves was with Pulte Homes for eight years, where he served as president of its Washington Division, one of the largest operating divisions in the company.
Reeves graduated from Colgate University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics and received his Master's of Science Degree in Public Accounting from the University of Hartford.
