Designed for installation in tight spaces, Johnson Control’s York LX Series stand only 33 inches tall. The units carry AFUE ratings as high as 96 percent (80 percent models are also available). The series includes single-stage models that feature a five-speed, direct-drive, X13-style high-efficiency DC motor that increases SEER ratings in the cooling mode. Two-stage models feature a variable-speed electronically commutated motor (ECM) that circulates air for longer periods of time.
