Applications for four new bendable substrates include architectural millwork. Ultralite Kerfkore, weighing 2 ounces per square foot, can be laminated flat before fabrication and still bend to a 31/2-inch radius. Timberflex Lite can bend to a 5-inch radius and comes in 1/2- and 3/4-inch thicknesses. At 2.5 ounces per square foot, 1/8-inch Italian poplar bending plywood also can bend to a 5-inch radius. And Kerfboard is designed for various kinds of radius projects.
