Hybridhaus: Contemporary Homes Need Contemporary Fences
This kit-based, modular, modern fence system goes well with modern and contemporary architecture
December 8, 2009
The Hybridhaus fence was designed as a kit (plans included) of modular parts that can make a fence of any length. According to the company, the shortest useful length is 4' 9" +- and qualifies primarily as an armature or vertical garden element. The longer fences are based on roughly 8 foot modules at 7 feet in height. The company claims this can be further adjusted if the site conditions require it. The height can also be adjusted to conform to its surroundings and/or zoning restrictions. Contractors can specify cedar, fir, mahogany of a combination of two.
