Go Cyber Green! Click and vote for best green building products and ideas

Green Log Awards uses viral online campaign to get votes, raise awareness of sustainable building solutions

April 9, 2008

Let your voice be heard — vote for the best healthy, sustainable products for the home and the most useful tips and ideas for green living. Cast your ballot for countertops made from paper and glassware, or home insulation made from blue jeans. The Green Log Home and Lifestyle Awards seek to drive home the message: the time to think green, know green and go green is now.

More than 80 companies have been nominated by their peers and by experts such as senior editors at the Environment News Service for a Green Log Award. Each can be examined up close at the Green Log Blog at www.GreenLogAwards.com

Tomorrow's brightest green solutions run the gamut from home spun to high tech. From home energy systems to home furnishings, green building processes and materials to landscaping, and from the best blogs for helpful tips on healthier living to the best pod casts and television shows, the 2008 Green Log Home & Lifestyle Awards are awarding the Green Log emblem to nominees, finalists and winners.

Tapping the social media power of the World Wide Web, the Green Log Awards are using an online voting system invented by Vizu to place voting booths at Web sites and blog sites across the Internet.

Over 80 nominees were announced in 19 different categories. This year's Green Log Awards is sponsored by Chase Home Finance, Home Buyer Publications, Ecological Home Ideas, and BuildGreenRadio.com. The two co-founders of the not-for-profit Green Log Awards are PrecisionCraft.com and MountainArchitects.com. Learn more about the sponsors and founders and cast your vote at GreenLogAwards.com.
