AC-1 and AC-4 air cleaners were rated at MERV 10 under ASHRAE standard 52.2-1999 in independent laboratory tests, the company says. The AC-1, designed for installation in most forced warm-air heating systems, has more than 78 square feet of microfiber filtering media. The AC-4, for smaller homes with an airflow of less than 1,400 cubic feet per minute, has 62 square feet of microfiber filtering media.
