| Outdoor Retreat A retreat to the outdoors any time of day, built to last the test of the elements in timeless style. The client, an accomplished architect, desired a durable yet poetic space. The screen porch is designed to be the identically sized twin to a future family room. The family room will eventually be built at the opposite end of the deck, utilizing all Andersen gliding windows. The screen porch uses stock sized Andersen gliding window screens, removable if ever damaged. The project program included the following at a cost of just under $50,000:
