Woodstalk engineered fiberboard panels combine wheat-straw fiber with a polyurethane binder. The resulting composite is formed, pressed and trimmed to the desired size. The company says it can be used in place of particleboard, medium-density fiberboard, oriented strand board and plywood, depending on the application. Applications include floor underlayment, kitchen counters, shelving, cabinets and door cores.
