The PowerFast Cable Tacker is designed to be the only tool a remodeler needs for all general wire- and cable-fastening jobs. One tool and three staple sizes are all that are needed to staple round or flat wire from 3/32 to 5/32 of an inch or round cable up to 1/4 of an inch, the company says. Key to the system is the Cable Tacker staples, which feature raised tops that surround a wire and hold it in place. Flat shoulders keep the staples from penetrating too far into wood, and wide staple legs prevent the leg points from puncturing wire.
