CertainTeed Siding Contractor Program Introduces Website Package

CertainTeed’s Siding Products Group enhances Contractor program with introduction of new tool for helping siding contractors overcome web design obstacle
January 14, 2009

(Valley Forge, Pa.) – Created for CertainTeed by expert web designers with extensive experience in the building and construction industry, Webcheck is a state-of-the-art — yet affordable — website package, available only to 5-Star Contractors. The package offers all that is needed for contractors to build an effective, engaging presence online, without over-complicated maintenance.

“Through the 5-Star Contractor program, we’re providing technical assistance, training and support to help contractors succeed,” says Matt Gibson, Manager of Contractor Programs for the CertainTeed Siding Products Group. “For many contractors, getting a website off the ground or improving an existing one has been a real stumbling block, so we were happy to step in and provide a solution.”

Webcheck provides 10 pages in user-friendly template form. Contractors can easily customize each page by submitting requested information about their companies. Each page will have a dedicated focus, such as testimonials, before-and-after photos, project showcases, company contact information, payment information, promotions and company certifications. The user can pick and choose which page topics they want featured on their individual website.

Available in January 2009, Webcheck is excellent resource to 5-Star Contractors wanting to keep up with an ever-changing market.

“As we see consumers becoming more educated and more Internet-savvy, it’s increasingly important for contractors to use the Internet to increase their advertising potential,” Gibson says. “In times like these, Webcheck is an excellent tool to have.”

The CertainTeed 5-Star Contractor Program provides high-level training and tools to improve siding contractors’ installation skills and enhance product knowledge for CertainTeed’s vinyl and polymer shake siding lines, as well as Restoration Millwork(TM) Exterior Trim. To attain 5-Star status, contractors must have proof of insurance and complete and pass the CertainTeed siding education programs, consisting of the Restoration Millwork Master Craftsman program, the Vinyl Siding Master Craftsman program, as well as the Vinyl Siding Institute (VSI) Certified Installer Program. For more information on Webcheck or the 5-Star Contractor program, call 800-233-8990 or go visit the newly redesigned certainteed.com.
