The Bosch 1678 top-handle, worm-drive circular saw offers those who cut horizontally the accuracy, durability and power of worm-drive technology. The saw is designed with a metal motor housing to handle loads and dissipate heat to extend the life of the tool. Five ball bearings add stability and strength to the motor and gears, and the oil lubrication system helps maintain gear life. Taller and deeper gear teeth maximize the area and provide a higher load capacity; these worm-drive gears have more than 800% more area than sidewinder gears do, the company says. The blade is on the left side of the saw for a better view of the cut line. Contact: 877/267-2499 www.boschtools.com
