Clearstrip gel is designed to remove multiple coats of paint safely. The noncaustic gel keeps paint wet for long periods of time, contains no harsh solvents and has a low odor. It is also environmentally friendly, nonflammable and biodegradable, and it cleans up with water, mineral spirits or alcohol. The gel removes most kinds of paint, varnish and other coatings such as standard epoxy and polyurethane from wood, concrete, masonry, brick, plaster, metal, stone and fiberglass. The product is applied approximately 1/32 to 1/16 inch thick using a brush, roller or spreader. It covers 40 to 80 square feet per gallon.
