For the seventh month this year, home price ratings have improved, according to the August 2009 S&P/Case-Shiller Home Price index, which was released today. Reed Construction Data Chief Economist Jim Haughey notes the home-buyer tax credit might be responsible for the gradual increase, which eventually could lead to several month-to-month declines. advertisement
