The new Renaissance Gas Cooktops by Dacor feature the company’s distinctive Illumina Burner Controls, which emit a cool blue glow to indicate when the burners are on—after all, even on “simmer” that flame can burn the heck out of the inattentive user.
The cooktops’ SimmerSear burners provide professional-level accuracy and deliver up to 18,000 BTUs of heat. The Continuous Platform Grates provide generous space for any oversized pot, pan or wok without overcrowding the cooking surface and allows users to slide pots from one burner to another without lifting. The 36-inch model features five burners with 12-inch grates. The 30-inch model features four burners with 10-inch grates.
