Delta Diamond Seal
January 30, 2008
HousingZone
Delta’s brand-new Diamond Seal Technology creates purely leak-free faucets that take the hassle of installation out of the equation. The truly unique centerpiece of the system is the company’s diamond-on-ceramic valve design is greaseless (unlike ceramic-on-ceramic valves) and completely frictionless, ensuring silky smooth operation for decades. Since there are no metal moving parts or gaskets, leaks are virtually impossible to form inside the cartridge.
Not only is the Diamond Seal leak-free, it’s also lead-free, since once inside the faucet, water never touches metal components. The flexible PEX waterways make installation a snap--all you need is a wrench and a screwdriver to install.
